WTF! I thought we were friends? Now I'm sitting at home after several hours in the emergency room from throwing up. I got a throat infection and the doctors say I shouldn't drink again? At least I have a reason to spit now, since I can't swallow anymore. —Goodbye weekends

I received the final power bill for my recently-passed father's account. I called to pay it as he left an insolvent estate. NSP wouldn't talk to me nor take a payment as I was not an authorized user on the account. Now you know why your power rates are so high... even higher now... I'm not paying it now... —Mr. Meaty

Every fall, the universities start up and traffic is horrendous until January, when I am assuming that many of you have failed or dropped out.
This year, why don't you save us all some trouble —hoping you quit while you still have your money

I was worried when you fucked the fire escape, and amused with the mess you made of the walkway. The painting annoyed me, but why the hell did you cut the trees down? Now the neighbours can see right into my place, and I have a panoramic view of the stumps. I used to love living here, but now I can't wait to move. —Where did the birds go?

E-liquids are being stopped at the border and sent back. I received a letter from customs stating it is a drug, therefore cannot be imported. Where are the studies to prove they work and are safe? Because they do work. Granted you are still addicted to nicotine but that is far less dangerous than the alternatives available to us of experimental and intentionally useless quitting aids.
It buys us time, literally. You are being lied to. There is no comparison between what is available and products outside the country. It makes one suspect that we are being set up to fail in our endeavor to reclaim our money and more importantly our health. Why is a border halt to these products easier to accomplish then a study or implimentation of standards that will permit these effective products available to citizens? Where are the standards that have been outlined for the Canadian nicotine juices?
Limit the amounts of nicotine, childproof caps mandatory, restrict the ingredients to those approved in so many foods and medicines that we already utilize...if they do not already maintain those obvious standards. Perhaps even limit import to Canadian vendors to further guarantee age restriction.
We should all understand what is going on here: this is suppression of a mild insurgence. Those that have the ability to assist (i.e stop inhibiting) us are not ready to divorce the revenue provided by the not only ineffective but far more dangerous/detrimental products and tobacco. It is a blatent but never addressed bias.
It leads people to treat nicotine as the drug that has been suggested. They will make these liquids unsafely out of desperation, obtain it against the psuedo laws by other means and this action sends the unconscious notion (and presumably desired affect) that the cigarettes which continue to travel across our border are safer than these products. —Cough'n'kid

It is time to stop spending money on these old historic dumps in Halifax.
Take the old barn the " forum " it was a barn 50 years ago and it still is, in fact the city ie our elected officals turned down an offer from national defense to help subsidize a four pad stadium in the old shannon park property.
Did they take up on an amazing offer, nope they will spend six million on the dump known as the forum
Had the property been in halifax i bet it would be a different story
So halifax what next —dumps

With my fresh and shiny degree in hand, I am applying for every job that comes my way; whether it's in my chosen field or not. Competition is fierce here in Halifax! I was quite thrilled to see a job come up that actually is in my area of expertise, with a company that hosts amazing events. But wait; rate of pay for all the hard work they ask? Unpaid internship. That's not even legal here. Pay people a wage for the work they do. It's the law. —Trained, skilled, experienced: Deserves pay

You know what scares me? Sick people, terminally I'll patients, people in tremendous pain, people with PTSD, etc... having a resource center where they can get their medicine, learn how to use it and have a social club where they are free to use their medicine in a judgment free environment. Thanks, HRP, for keeping our streets safe! —Me

I appreciate you, your pony tail, and your advice to not litter but suggesting people throw cigarettes into a trash full of posters is maybe not a good idea. —Smokey
