it's a long shot, but i thought i'd reach out and say hey.
last spring i was walking down spring garden with fruit from pete's, and you were at the bus stop by subway/fickle frog. we made eye contact and i smiled at you :)
i walked to public gardens to have a solo picnic and, you followed me in... i'm pretty sure, anyway. i had no idea what to do, so i just plopped by the water and ate an apple and got barefooted. you sauntered behind me and plopped down on the other side of the pond. we sat for a bit. i was too shy to actually talk to you, but i decided to bring you an apple.
then you were gone when i got to the other side of the pond. gone, with your manbun and your backpack and your yumminess.
we have seen each other around a few of other times, once on robie near tony's. i saw you at sobey's with a girl. i hope she's nice!! i've seen you walk by the good food, and we passed each other again on spring but you were on the phone and didn't see me.
bleh! the price of not saying hey :) —coincidences n stuff

To the tall, curvy brunette who works downstairs at a north end college campus, thanks for wearing those sexy black leather boots (and everything else that went with them) all winter. —Leg man

I met you two years ago on St Patricks Day at Durty Nellys, after you have been celebrating with some of the boys you said. You invited me and my friend to sit with you and we all laughed and carried on. I was wearing a multi colour Kelly green , black, grey and cream sweater. You had on a tshirt and a yellow shirt. You were a teacher in Dartmouth you told me. Then you were gone but you asked where I usually went. I had just come from The Moustache and said sometimes I go there on Saturdays. You said maybe you would see me there next week but it wasn’t a place you usually went.
So I was there the next week and old boyfriend showed up. Then you did too and I was shocked to see you. We chatted briefly but I was up on the dance floor a lot. You left and said Goodbye as you passed. I immediately felt like I had made a big mistake- again. But you gave me a gift that I will always remember- the fact that you came looking for me and I thank you for that.
Love you my dear Dartmouth teacher. —Grateful Poet

I don't know when it happened, but we grew apart. We were the friend group that I thought would always last, instead we lasted up until the growing pains were too much. I'm sad to be out of it and on my own, but from out here I can see all the cracks in the foundation. I think I might be better off making some new friends who care a little more. —Don't Be Strangers

Thanks for being a bright spot lately in my otherwise grey little life. Your honesty and adorableness never cease to amaze, keep loving, keep painting, keep unapologetically being yourself.

To a beautiful young woman at CH, thank you for the parking pass to the College Street parking lot on March 25th. You help me to avoid a parking ticket during the snow parking blockade, although you may have hestiated that I may not actually have needed the pass. Just to let you know, I extended your hospitality to another stranger before I left the parking lot and passed along your gesture of generosity, hopefully throughout the remainder of that day. Bad weather woes can bring out the best in people in my opinion, thanks again. —old White Hard Hat guy

A big thank you goes to the friendly ginger bearded man who helped this clumsy girl up after I wiped out on the very icy commons. —v
