We have been consistently hanging out for the past five months and I still get butterflies whenever our eyes meet. I can't help but feel overwhelmed with good energy when we talk about plants, eat burgers or while stargazing. I don't know how you feel about me but I have overwhelmingly fallen for you. I can't help but daydream of you everyday on my way to my early morning shift. You are a driven, hard-working, inspiring woman with a burning passion for life. No matter the outcome, I am very grateful that I met someone as beautiful as you. -Lost in Your Eyes

I lost my wallet (with way too much important stuff in it) and I got it back! And it was all thanks to a peach who put posters up for me and gave me money/food, a stranger who turned it in to the police and a handsome police officer who hand delivered it to my house! The people in this city are un-friggin-real. -One Happy Camper

Finn the Human. You high-fived me, and made a difficult day brighter. Awesome. -WWSD

Spryfield is really growing on me. I can wander on down to the Dingle and dangle my ding-a-ling in the northwest arm in about 10 minutes, something that people pay a gorillion dollars to have the pleasure of living next to. I can be downtown in 10 minutes. There's a farm next to the skate park. Since a nice house only costs like 140k here I can be a real hipster, just like I always wanted. Say goodbye to the government-funded NSCAD-grade hipsterdom of the shallow North End; real hipsters make art and reno their houses too, all under their own economic power. My lawn is littered with shitty found sculptures as we speak. Just like my neighbour's lawn is littered with the corpses of Honda Civics (he's challenging conceptions consumerist tropes by exploring the malleability of "planned obsolescence" for his grade 10 thesis). But the final thing is that my neighbour, just like almost everyone else out here, is just genuinely nice as fuck and pleasure to be around. I'm really starting to feel the Spryde. -Spry Gentry

Your jokes and facial expressions and sarcasm crack me up. I don't see you that often—we're both so busy—but when I do see you, you make my heart pound. Also you have a nice voice and you know a lot. Let's go dancing! -I Think I Might Sorta Like You

In a rush to get where I was going I jumped madly onto the 52 to look up and see the most handsome driver. Sunglasses and a great scarf framed a handsome face. The trip was far to short and I couldn't take my eyes off you. Next time round trip! - Fuzzy Sweater Fella

To the lady that tipped me at work yesterday: Thank you for giving me that tip, I've worked in this joint for a year and you're the first customer that's done it. Thanks for the help! -Grateful

While in the north end of Dartmouth on the weekend, I spotted a man fall down drunk, not being able to get back up, no matter how hard he tried. "Welcome to Primrose," I thought. I called 911. Within two minutes, three cars and four different pedestrians had stopped to help. Two of the men began helping him up. Putting his arms around them, they began to aid him in his attempt to walk. Then an elderly couple came out of their house, put him in their car, and drove him, I presume, home. I called 911 back to let them know they weren't needed. Welcome to Primrose, indeed. -Anonymous
