I love living in a city where local business is celebrated! Thank you Haligonians for making Open City a great success! I loved seeing your smiling faces wandering the city for treasures. As a long time employee of a small local business, my heart was warmed by the line up out the door; I could feel the love. It takes a lot of hard work to thrive locally and we could not do it without all the generous support from our loyal and new customers! Thank you! Come again! —Hardworking Local Girl

You're sweet and fun, and very smart. Also absolutely gorgeous. My stomach flips when you look at me and I can't stop smiling long after our little hang-outs... and whenever you touch me, I'm surprised you can't hear my heart pounding. I'm really going to miss sitting next to you in lectures next year. Maybe we could make up for it with more coffee dates? —In Like

This is a love for all of the people who need love, want love, found love, are searching for love, are love, and those who make love real.
Last year I was so broken hearted that I didn't know if I would ever get out of bed, much less meet love again. My life and love had run head first, full blast, into a wall without a helmet.
The damage was pretty gosh darned dramatic and resounding; I mean metaphysical drooling in a wheelchair impact.
PTSD, a severe distrust of members of the opposite sex, and an almost viral infection of debilitating independence took me for a joyride through my plundered life.
One year later, after taking time for myself to exist anew, Love and all that warm fuzzy stuff is fluffing my pillow every night.
So thanks, Love - Thanks for being there when I came home, and thanks for all the tingles, smooches, heart palpitations, and reasons to keep opening my door whenever you come a knockin'. —McTweedlebottom

Oh my goodness. You don't know how attractive you are, which makes you even more attractive to me. When you touch me, my stomach flips. I say the stupidest things when I'm around you, because just looking at you makes my mind go blank and all I can focus on is trying to make my heart shut up. If you look at my chest when you touch me, you can literally see my heart beating through it. But you don't look at my chest, because you are a gentleman. You once held my bag. I thought that was really cute. Also, you let me have a bite of your sandwich. Also adorable. I officially like-like you. —Just Thought You Should Know

I used to wish upon the endless stars, that I would be with you,
fate brought us together and I can't live without you,
you are my heart, my love, my everything, you make me smile and I am happiest when I'm with you - laying next to me counting the shooting stars, as we lay in a field of grass, nothing but us and each other's warmth. —I Want To Take You To All The Cool Places, Show You Everything The World Has To Offer

On Tuesday around 9:15am I was sideswiped by a white SUV while riding my bicycle at the intersection of North and Robie. Although the SUV driver sped off, many drivers stopped to see if I was okay, gave me the licence number of the SUV, and one driver even went off after the SUV. I just wanted to say thanks to all those people, and also to ask anyone who saw the accident PLEASE to report it to the police... Without an independent witness report there is little they can do, and it would be great if my resulting physio could be covered by the driver's insurance. —A Grateful Cyclist

It's hard to discribe how amazing you are, since you don't see yourself the way I do. Beautiful, smart, kind, active, sincere, helpful, thoughtful, laid back yet driven and so much more. Your confidence and "poses" always leave me amazed and your emotionally softer side is so heart warming. You deserve everything you want in life but you'll never accept it because you don't think possessions are that important which just makes you that much more beautiful. My friends all point out that I can't hide my attraction when I talk about you, but why should I? Smiling just feels so good. It is uncertain how much time we will get to spend together but let's not worry about that and enjoy each others company now. How could I possibly know how the future will turn out when the present is so unbelievable?!! —THE Fire Rabbit
