Thanks for a good year! I met some awesome people and I miss them like crazy every day! Things didn't go as they were supposed to, but I thoroughly enjoyed what you had to offer near the end of my stay. It was a sudden move that happened earlier then it was supposed to but I wouldn't change it for the world.
Thanks for everything! Although there are some things I would love to change about you, Halifax, I will greatly miss you!
Hopefully we meet again some time in the future. —Ontarioan Love

You are on my mind! There are times when it is faint, but not one day goes by when the thought of you doesn't cross my mind. I told you once that I don't want you in my life (scared I guess) now I regret it, truly I wish I could take those words back. I didn't think I was ready and now I fear I will lose you forever. —Lost Without You

You have blonde, shoulder length hair. Lots of tats and piercings! I've saw you a few times, but never had the nerve to talk to you. Then you came and asked me a few questions, that made my day! —Admirer

To the beautiful and kind barista with blue eyes at the cafe that serves mostly medical students: just being able to see you a few times a week helped me through the worst five months of my life. I might get the courage some day to tell you that in person! —Salt and Pepper

It was a beautiful day on Canada Day. I had a good time at Alderney Landing, had a good conversation, then walked home alone after watching the fireworks.
It's a mystery to me why I have feelings for you. I am trying to unfeel and unknow what I do about you. —Six Years and Counting

I'm so glad we are BFFs again. Those couple of months without you and our crazy antics were awful. Words can't describe how excited I am for our summer of single lady fun and all of the craziness we'll get ourselves into. I mean, we have to cram as much fun in as possible before we're both pregnant, right? Ha! Thank you for not hating me and forgiving me for being a major jerk. —Future Baby Mama

I submitted a bitch about how poor the Canada day fireworks were last year, well this year I really enjoyed them. They were much longer, there were more and they were bigger and better. Thank you Halifax for giving me a bit of excitement when I was expecting to be disappointed once again. To the huge crowd that surrounded me singing "O'Canada," that only made it better! —Bitcher Last Year, Lover This Year

I am so proud to be a part of this beautiful country, and call myself a Canadian. Happy Birthday Canada. Every year, I get prouder and prouder of you, now if only we could have a leader I could be proud of. —Proud to be a Canadian

Oh, my sexy French boy, why didn't you tell me you were going to be parading around in your full uniform Canada Day? I would have booked the day off and never made plans if I had of known. Next time tell me sooner, so I can see you all dressed up and even sexier. P.S. Your accent makes me melt. —Sincerely, Your Pretty Girl
