To My Sausage Man. When I am cranky you make everything better with a hug and "everything will be alright". I'm so thankful to have you in my life! You keep me from going insane sometimes. Can't wait for Cuba with my Papi!!! —Your Lover xo

I love you. We all do. Since you've come into our lives, the house seems a little more welcoming when we come home. Your overly-aggressive morning cuddles are what get me out of bed happy. Watching you stalk after your cat-fishing-rod gives us hours of entertainment. I don't think I'd trade you for any cat, and I do hope our home feels like your home. I think it does.
So why, why WHY, do you keep pooing in the hallway? Peeing in my shoes? peeing in my SUITCASE FULL OF CLOTHES?? I will keep loving you, gorgeous girl, but I really hope you start loving us back soon. —Love You, But Not Your Piss

Thank you to the 2 nurses at the Oval during the 6pm public skate on Jan 17th.
As soon as you saw that my mother had fallen on the ice, you immediately stopped, identified yourselves as nurses and proceeded to help her and help ease her pain.
You took the time needed to help get her up with an unknown injury. (turned out to be a broken shoulder)
We are forever grateful and you are both a credit to your profession. —Forever in Debt

To my former poker partner, you are the most fascinating person who has ever breezed through my life. Although the wind swept you in another direction, I will cherish all the random memories we made on our adventures. Our timing was far from ideal, my fear held me back for being myself, but I will never regret you. I hope the wind blows you back my way someday so we can be friends. —Focus Pocus

To all the people I met during my two week stay at "some crummy hotel", the one where you don't expect much good service.
You raised my expectations. Infinitely. Each and every one of you, as you cared for me and shared pieces of yourself. I will never forget your warmth. That furtive embrace, the one that ended with tears in both our eyes. Those songs. Our duets. Gifts. Lessons. Card games and "insanity scrabble". Art and karaoke. Real conversations that I will take with me always in me heart. Laughter. My wish for each of you is only the best of everything that the world has to offer. —The Good Folks That Shared Their Time With Me

Thank you SO very much to all the good samaritans who came to my aid on Sunday afternoon after I tripped and did a face plant at Spring Garden and Queen. A very special Bravo Zulu to the man who came with a First Aid kit and put pressure on my cut and reassured me. I believe thanks to you, I needed no stitches! Also to the kind lady who phoned the restaurant twice to let my waiting family know what had happened. Thank you to others who also stopped and asked the First Aider if he needed more help. From the people who went and got the Paramedic in the coffee shop; and to the Paramedics who came on call. Thank you all very much for your caring and good care. Note to myself: DO NOT walk with hands in the pockets. I could not get them out quick enough to break my fall. Using my face to stop, not so great :-) but all is well, could have been worse. —Lady in the Green Parka
