To the hotdog vender next to a hardware store on Robie Street - YOU made my day. First off, bless your heart for selling hotdogs on a freezing cold day. Second, thanks for showing sympathy and concern when I bitched about me having to wait 3 hours at the mechanic for my pos car to get fixed. YOU asking ME how my day was made me so happy that I could vent about my issues. You're the nicest hotdog vender on the East Coast!! —Hotdog Craver

Super thank you to the nice taxi driver the other night who made a cold city feel more like home with some common friendly talk about the weather and planes. You said it was the best weekend ever and I hope luck continues to shine on you! —Thank You

Thanks for rockin last Saturday night. I had to pay 30 bucks cover because I missed out on an advance ticket but it was well worth it! You guys rocked, thanks so much for playing something for everyone, from AC/DC to Nirvana to MJ to MOP to Nice & Smooth to Puff Daddy & Mase. Hosting duties were also handled quite well by a certain Mr. Smooth. Haven't rocked out like that in a while. I wish I had more opportunities to see you guys. Keep holdin Halifax down!! —Made Out with Wonder Woman

To the kind gentlemen who helped pick my ass up off the sidewalk and help me into my cab in front of a pub over the weekend, it was really appreciated. I realize that I forgot to thank you both – I was overcome by my embarrassment at being rendered helpless by my bad knee, and the fact that I was coming out of a bar after a few libations making me look even more the slop tart didn’t help matters. You are both brilliant and it meant a lot to me. I love our city and that there are always kind lads around to save the day. Thanks again! —I Kneeded You

Whenever something bad happens, we look for the silver lining, and I have spent so many years doing this, I can't seem to see the clouds anymore until they're raining shit all over me.
Your giant steaming pile of crap is finally gone, and the silver lining is your madness allowed me to start to fix a relationship that I thought was gone forever.
So thanks for that, you $^%#ing jackass. I hate you, I love you, I wish you well. —Nobody's Gonna Get This, But I Don't Care

You have the biggest heart I know, you give out so much pure, radiant love to people without even knowing it. I can't see you sad anymore, you're my best friend, and I think you deserve the universe. Don't let that caveman get you down, we evolved decades ago. —Curly

We were warm and all bundled up, watching Charlie Chaplin at the Square, what a wonderful moment that was! Thank you for the watermelon tourmaline stone, it was in my glove all night, and your sweater kept me warm. You are my sun. Keep on keepin' on! —Moon
