Just sending some love to you. I cried when I heard of the hate directed towards you. So many admire your strength, beauty, sense of humour, kindness and trueness to self. Stay strong and remember you are loved. —An Anonymous Admirer

While visiting Halifax on business on June 8th, 2011, I had a nasty fall. Three kind samaritans came to my assistance, called 911, located a coworker and stayed with me until I was transported. Many thanks to them, the paramedics and the staff at the infirmary. Thank you to everyone for your kind assistance in my time of need. —Visitor

I thought that you just gave out books
and sometimes quite cute, funny looks.
Yet at roller derby,
just like with my Furby,
I wanted you so bad I shook.

Halifax's first Roller Derby event... wow... I was entirely overwhelmed by all of you, the organizers, volunteers, supporters, the whole freaking crowd was WOW! Every last one of you! My heart is filled with such joy. I am pumped for the next bout later this summer at the BMO center in Bedford! All the best and I love every single one of you. We lost but only by score; we won in every single other way possible! —Derby Fan #1

Thank you to the guy who left a generous tip at a South Park coffee shop two days ago. It's nice to know that people appreciate us! —Barista in Love

What can I say about something that has always put a smile on my face and gave me reason to wake up in the morning? Without you I would be lost. I can't wait to see you again at lunch time. I love you Horsey sauce! —Addict

I love the way you both interact with your customers, the way you interact with each other. I'm almost certain that there was another article about both of your "sweetness", however, I thought it would be a wonderful way to express how you brighten my day everytime I come into your shoe store just off of Birmingham and Spring Garden. It's the way you both make your customers feel like they actually matter, and that its about getting them into proper footwear. One of you is sweeter than honey, the other is delightfully charming, but both of you are beautiful on the inside and out. Both of you keep on smiling and keeping making everyone feel special. —Shoe Loving Girl

You are the best thing to have ever happened to me. You support me when times are hard. I wake to your smile every morning and dream of it at night. I feel so very lucky because of you and I wanted to thank you for it. I love you sweetheart, I love you so much. —Altair

To the amazing nurses who may have thought that they were simply taking care of someone a little too fried... you saved my life. I don't think I would have made it through the night alive if I hadn't gone to the hospital. I wish I could remember your names, but that would just be awkward anyway. —Livid Stoned and Disorganized

I call you Red because of your red jacket, but Wednesday on the ferry you wore a white trench. Your hair was shorter-very sexy. You had the collar turned up, blue Ray-Ban sunglasses. You looked too cool to be real. I think I love you. —Olive Drab
