Last night you saw me wave to you. The wind was gusting freezing rain at me as I struggled through a snow drift. You stopped and waited for me to cross the street to reach the bus stop. It took me a few minutes. You waited. You are the kindest, best-est bus driver EVER! My hero! —Cold wet GRATEFUL passenger

To the sexiest hottest bus driver that does the #32 and picks me up at around 5:40 pm, I look forward to seeing you every Wednesday. You always put a smile on my face when I see you pulling up to my stop. I love you, I always wanted to tell you but I choke at the last second and just tell you to have a nice night and thank you for the ride. You beep to me every time you pull away. I love you. —Girl that gets off at South Centre Mall

To the guy that stood next to me at the City and Colour concert—you made my night that much better! Your dog Buddy was so well behaved and he kept my feet warm for the majority of the time by sitting on them! Thank you and thank you Buddy! P.S. You have a gorgeous smile! —K

To the man who tried to help my boyfriend and I back out of a very tight parking spot in a busy parking lot on Sunday, I thank you for your kindness. Even though we had to wait an extra 10 minutes after you left for other cars to leave their spots before attempting the departure, we were extremely grateful for your help! —Small yet smiling Sierra passenger

I had an amazing weekend in Halifax, I'm from out of town right now. A group of us went to the last Canada Games concert last night. Her favorite artist was playing, my other friends were with their significant others and it was just me and her, and it felt so right, after the concert I went to her university and her roommate was gone out and we were up almost to sunrise just talking, I slept so happily. I've wanted to see how things would work out between us for a long time now. I would hate to ruin our friendship though, but you're perfect. I hope you read this and know who you are. —Socially Awkward Nerd

Thank you to the wonderful blonde girl with the glasses who gave me one of those handwarmer things at City and Colour, it made my (embarrassingly drunk) concert going experience even better! Thank you! —Thankful drunk

Thanks so much to all the party people who helped push my rear-wheel drive car out of its slippery parking spot Saturday night on Prince street. I wanted to get out and thank you, but didn't want to get stuck again! You saved me from the parking ban devils! —Volvo driver

I want to give a big shout out to some local cafes! I was at a lot of them last week in a flurry of meetings. At one point I left my notebook behind with all kinds of important stuff. On Friday I found it in my mailbox wrapped in plastic and safe from the rain. Whoever you are—I'm sending you waves of positive energy! —Caffeinated

To all the people on the #20 bus around 5:30 on Friday who I startled when my shoulder dislocated... I apologize for freaking you out by not wanting to call the hospital, and thank you for not calling the hospital. It just takes a moment to pop back in, and it's difficult in a moving vehicle. The shoulder dislocated from emotional trauma in/and previous dislocations so I wouldn't worry about it happening to you and yes, I am taking care of it. Thanks again. —Working on strengthening muscles

To my wonderful group, it was so nice to spend time with you traveling to Toronto and Montreal this week. I think it made us an even stronger group and hopefully gave us more ideas to branch out and become better. Viva la revolution! Special shoutout to the girl who was with me for the entire trip keeping me entertained and laughing, to the beautiful lady who wore my hat on the drive home, thank you for keeping the energy alive, and to the handsome orange-haired guy, whose smile and organization were the reason we even got to go in the first place! Thanks for finding my phone. You guys are the best part of my week, every week! Can't wait to see you again! —J
