To the lady on Eaton Ave who faithfully walks her elderly black lab ever-so-slowly in his custom-made wheelchair: We need more lovelies like you in the world. Despite his age and condition, your dog looks genuinely grateful to be by your side and to be given an opportunity to live out his years in comfort. —Your neighbour

I gotta say, I love the bitches! I am not a regular poster, but I am a regular reader, and the comic responses never cease to make me actually LOL at my desk...
When those crappy days weigh particularly heavy, a quick pop onto LLTWB always turns my mood around - so thank you all those bitchers, I just wanted to let you know that you are helping someone smile... —Friday afternoon just got funnier!

I'd like to send a big thanks out to the anonymous do-gooder at Purdy's Wharf Fitness Center who returned my ipod after I carelessly left it behind. Never in a million years did I think it would have been turned in. It totally made my day, thanks so much! —Sound Tracker

Sorry your email doesn't work so I couldn't let you know how giving us the old man sweater with the great cowboy on back really made our time here in Nova Scotia. It's a beautiful sweater and such a gift from a stranger that we met one Saturday morning. We have made a commitment to also do an act for random kindness. Thanks again for helping us keep warm in a beautiful sweater for this winter. —Old Man Sweater Experts

Congrats on the baby news...here's hoping everything goes wonderfully (although I'm sure it will). You seem like you're a fantastic mother (you know from the anonymous way you post online lol). —PurpleFire <3

This goes out to the driver of a red Toyota(?) this morning who was approaching a red light on Portland St near Prince Arthur. You were in the middle of the lane and, I presume, saw me behind you signalling to turn right. With the remaining feet before the intersection you moved your car over to the left hand side of our lane to provide enough space to allow me to turn right withour having to wait for the green. Thank you. That was very thoughtful and considerate. I wish more dirvers in HRM were that aware and considerate. —Right Turn Clyde

To the guy on his way out of the convenient store on Windsor last week. You stopped to comment on our matching scarfs, and I just laughed. I wish I had stopped to talk. —green and sparkly

I've wanted to know you for months now, and recently finally got the chance. We have so much in common and I feel like we could be great friends but I am afraid to trust you for fear of getting burned, as I have been in the past. I hope you read this because I can't tell you this without sounding cliche - but I feel like we are two shy people trying to be careful, and I hope that we can overcome this cautiousness and create a beautiful friendship. —From your new-found friend

Dear Boy-From-Portland, I was horribly dreading the 12 hour bus trip down to Maine, then you said hi in Moncton. Having someone [not a smelly stranger or a crazy old lady] to sit beside and chat with made the trip a breeze. Thanks!! —Girl With Laptop
