I want to sent out a huge THANK YOU to the person(s) who wrote wonderful messages of peace & love, and lovely drawings at the entrance of so many houses on the sidewalk on Lawrence St.
I was having a yucky day and boy oh boy, did that ever cheer me up !! I had the biggest smile on my face as I continued walking down the street. I even crossed the street going back to Windsor to see the rest of them. It took me another 20 mins out of my way, and it was SO worth it! Thanks for making me happy !! —Sidewalk love is awesome!

To the cute guy ahead of me in the checkout at Sobey's Tacoma drive in Dartmouth on Sat. June 26:
You asked me about the frozen fruit in my cart. I told you it was for the fruit smoothies I take to work everyday. Wish I had been a little smoooother when you told me to have a great Saturday. Contact me on here if you see this. —Not as smooth as you

To the Star employees working at the coffee-shop in Scotia Square:
Thank you so much for my daily afternoon caffeine hits. I couldn't get through my day without you. <3 —Toffee-nut
Thank you for looking too friggin' cute in your uniforms and freshest polo tees and for inviting my friends and I to drink expensive alcohol for free on your "massive party bus" this saturday... you are so very very friendly and eager. And for that, I salute you. xoxoxoxox —KTW

To the guy who gave a tired cashier one of his Happy Hippo treats: You made a very long and shitty shift bearable. Thank you.
It really doesn't take much to make someone's day, and you certainly made mine. I wish I'd been able to think clearly enough to thank you properly, but I gushed to my coworkers once you had left. Thank you so much for offering me that tiny bit of kindness in the shape of a hippo <3 If you see this, let me know how you liked them! —Pete's Girl

I work in downtown Dartmouth and live in the Woodlawn area and I have to say: Being a gentleman must be required if you are from Dartmouth ~ I have never witnessed so many men holding doors in my life!
It's is so nice to have guys literally running ahead of you to get the door. The thing is, age doesn't matter, young/old (from 8 yrs old to 80!) guys do it. I have seen so many men breaking their necks to grab a door, so some female doesn't have to (like me). Gee, what a nice feeling. Thanks guys, oh and girls don't forget to acknowledge the gesture, don't let it go unnoticed. —Holysmokes

To the man with wolf's teeth, thank you for all the afternoon visits and for being so darn cute. I am sorry I am always so incredibly awkward around you and I am sorry that when you tried to touch my hand I was too flustered to interact with you.
Let us play another round and maybe this time I won't get skunked. —Tricks

I have a wonderful house full of great girls! Over the past year my four bedroom flat has had the pleasure of being home to six amazing females (not all together, that would have been interesting). When we moved into our house on North Street, it was not in the best shape. To be more specific, the front stair way smelled like pee, there was mouse poop on every shelf, the living room was a discussing faded purple, the kitchen was a drab off white, neither the back or the front door locked properly, and the backyard was looking incredibly rough.
Once the house was taken over by the fab female team, it was completely revamped! Paint flying all over the place, a wonderful scent of homemade Montreal incense, we whipped our landlord into shape getting new locks and a new fridge, and two of the girls have done an incredible job gardening and fixing up the back yard!
Not to mention the talent spewing from this fine group. It is a house full of wonderful and powerful ladies! Thanks for a great year!
PS: I miss you D! —Happy To Come Home
