I don't know if this is love, but an apology is more love than bitch, so...

To the couple in the silver car on Bayers Rd:

I'm really sorry I was driving stupidly. I turned right out of the Halifax Shopping Center on to Bayers Rd today, in the left lane. I didn't think there was anyone in the right lane when I realized I forgot something so I turned right on to the street intersecting with Bayers Rd.

I'm sorry I cut you off, and I'm very grateful you're so attentive when driving and had the courtesy not to smash into me. You've taught me not to be so careless when driving.

Much love.—Careless

My love, my dove,

I know it was a big decision to shave off your mustache. After all, you'd been sporting it for all of your adult life. You were very brave and I want to thank you for taking the leap, probably because you knew it was something I wanted. You try to please me in every way and that was just another one of the wonderful things you do. I'm thrilled that you're happy with your new look and everyone says you look younger, but more than that, I'm over the moon with your kisses... I'll never tire of sucking on your lips. Mmwwaahh!! —Smokey

Kudos to the military dude who stopped on his Friday morning walk to work for a little impromptu garbage clean up at Prince and Barrington. You didn't make that mess on the sidewalk but you took a couple of moments to clean it up. The other sidewalk commuters salute you. —Barrington Shuffler

When it started on a Portland street porch I bet you had no inkling you were talking to the woman who would marry you, bear your children- and drive you nuts. You had no idea it would involve a big city and a golden retriever, bland cooking and compulsive planning, growing pains and labour pains, station wagons and sleepless nights, parenting books and parenting brawls, money worries and the endless playing of “pretend”.

To the man who mows my lawn, changes the breaks, fixes the sink, does the taxes, walks the dog, and loves his kids….. Thank you for all that you do. Happy Father’s Day. Gary says it best - “I know I love you like the million times I never said”. —Love Doll

Already I find myself missing seeing all the familiar faces while working at the Coburg convenience store for a good chunk of the summer and before that. Getting somewhat familiar with some of you who would come in made sitting there for hours on end all the more bearable (Some more then others). I'll be back in September! —Belmont's or Next
