Thank you, Handsome Mr.Q Navy guy. I can't remember his name, but I know it started with a "Q" and you drove a white jeep. You stopped driving in the Superstore parking lot on Young Street, and jumped out of your Jeep just to help an elderly lady put her food into her car. You smiled and said "Enjoy the rest of your day" and drove off. She was sitting in her car smiling from ear to ear. You made my day.  We need more people who look out for others in this city. Hope to see you're half smirk smile again. —Green Sweater Girl

To the group of people who saw me being harassed on Barrington Street tonight: It started out okay, but he became persistent and had just started showing signs that maybe he was about to turn aggressive when you showed up. Thank you for paying attention to what was happening and coming to help me. Thank you very much. —Dana Scully

To the 2 lovely ladies I met in line at Nellys Saturday night, had a great time. Even though it was only an hour it was fun. Hope to see you there again sometime soon. Maybe another Saturday night. #captainamerica #fatburglar —No costume

A huge thank you to the lady who witnessed and helped me when I was lying in the middle of the intersection of Albro Lake Road and Windmill Road on Monday, October 24 at approximately 3:45PM when the white SUV ran the red and almost ended me on my bike. I appreciate your help. I have reported the incident and am thankful for your kindness. Seriously thankful and lucky. —Bruised and Thankful

To a certain local performer, who pulls out a parachute and confetti at every show: You made my Halloween so special this year. Your concerts are always full of such an incredible energy. It makes everyone feel so alive, and excited to be alive. You're hot as hell, and have such talent and the right attitude, that you bring the best out of Halifax. —Cathartically Cleansed Pearl Earring Gal

I dropped my travel mug of coffee while running to catch the bus this morning at the Dartmouth bus terminal and didn't notice it missing. You ran after me to return it, then came back again with my also-dropped pen. THANK YOU! I take your bus to one of my two workplaces. I usually see you twice or three times a week. I’m usually the only one on the bus at this hour, and you drop me right outside my workplace, even though there's no official stop there. I have noticed, and I am ever so thankful. You two show the city's good heart, and I appreciate your kindness. —Early Riser

having my breakfast on Agricola street last Monday, I saw you working through the tiny window in the wall. I don't know what you are doing back there. Your smile was megawatt brilliant and you were signing. You need to be out front. You are exquisitely beautiful. —Late Riser
