Description
(100 word max)

Only 25 spots remain for those wanting to volunteer at the IWK Health Centre. “They fill up really fast,” says Janet Foley, manager of volunteer resources. “It’s kind of like a double-edged sword: it’s great for us because we never have to recruit, but I hate having to turn anybody away.” IWK volunteers have the opportunity to work in all areas of the hospital, from the emergency room to the maternity ward. You can even read to children.
