Active Transportation Advisory Committee Bike Week Meeting

Halifax’s Active Transportation Advisory Committee is convening for a special meeting during Bike Week. The agenda will focus on providing a comprehensive update on the municipality’s progress in implementing the 2014-19 Active Transportation Priorities Plan. This is proposed as the first annual update and will be an opportunity for the public to learn about the “big picture” of developing Halifax’s active transportation network. The presentation will review the priorities established in the plan, summarize progress on current projects and highlight future initiatives. Community groups and organizations who are working to support active transportation in Halifax will also have an opportunity to update the community on their activities.
