Cuba’s Life Task: Cuba’s Resilience & Blueprint for Climate Survival - A Halifax Premiere

BAFD-Dalhousie University
Cuba’s Life Task
Join us for the Halifax screening of Tarea Vida de Cuba, Combatiendo el Cambio Climático (Cuba's Life Task: Combatting Climate Change), a documentary on Cuba’s bold national plan to confront climate change through community resilience, scientific innovation, and social justice. Despite economic sanctions and global inequities, Cuba leads by example in building climate resilience. The film will be introduced by Dr. Helen Yaffe (University of Glasgow), one of its producers and narrators, followed by a discussion on lessons for global climate justice. Organized by Black & African Diaspora Studies–Dalhousie University and the Nova Scotia Cuba Association.
