Dark Energy & the Runaway Universe

Join world-renowned astronomer Dr. Alex Filippenko as he presents Saint Mary's University's inaugural MacLennan Lecture in Astronomy: "Dark Energy & the Runaway Universe."

Following the lecture, telescopes will be set up on the front lawn of the McNally Main Building for all to enjoy, weather permitting. Saint Mary's astronomy students, faculty members, and members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Halifax Centre) will be available to answer questions about the night sky.
