You think you know the history of the gold rush, but banish those Yosemite Sam inklings forever with this 2016 documentary that chronicles 500 films from 1910, rediscovered in a sub-artic swimming pool deep in the Yukon after 50 years. The found footage shows the transformation and displacement of a Indigenous hunting camp, as well as acting as a slow-shutter snapshot of life in the north in the early 20th century.
