Dream big: A fundraising gala

"After more than a decade of self-sustainment, Halifax Circus is launching this family friendly event to assist in expanding and improving the Halifax Circus Circle—a social outreach program designed to help at-risk youth build their confidence, increase their self-worth and develop both circus and social skills, " event organizers say of this swish soiree. Circus performances, music, nibbles, mocktails and the chance to try some circus-y feats for yourself (a tightrope and unicycle will be on hand) rounds out the fun.
