Halifax Pride promises "a candid conversation on the issues and struggles faced by South Asian and Middle Eastern individuals that put them at risk for violence, with specific attention paid to the challenges and struggles faced by those who are undocumented and or from the LGBTQ+ community," as Vijayanathan, a Sri Lankan, Tamil gay man from Winnipeg, hosts this edition of the Evening Speaker Series.
