Exploring the Empress of Ireland

Join Dr. John Willis, chief curator of the Canadian Museum of History and Dan Donlin, curator of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 for an evening exploring the events surrounding the sinking of the Empress of Ireland, the ill-fated ocean liner that sank on the St. Lawrence River. The night begins with a guided tour of Pier 21's temporary exhibit, Empress of Ireland-Canada’s Titanic, followed by a performance by the Halifax Citadel Salvation Army Band. Finally, Dr. Willis will deliver a lecture.
