Felting: Wet Felted Vessel Workshop

Creating hollow forms using wet felting techniques opens up a world of possibilities for creating unique and innovative felted objects! Felting hollow forms, also called resist felting, can add extra dimension, complexity, texture, and versatility to projects. With the techniques learned in this workshop, you will understand how to make items like bowls, vases, containers, and sculptural, spatial works. Participants will use natural protein and plant fibres when designing, felting and fulling, and learn about shrinkage ratio, fibre type, and fine finishing techniques.
