Golden Moons
In the stargazing mood? So is Halifax textile artist Frances Dorsey, who's weft printing processes and warm natural dye hues focus on the moon in all it's symbolism and glory. She shares the gallery with 20 works by New Brunswick potter Rachel Morouney. Morouney's stoneware funerary urns feature intricate designs and themes of loss, death and darkness. The gallery calls it an "arranged marriage" and we think it's a perfect pair.
