Gord Downie: Secret Path

The legendary Tragically Hip lead singer brings his latest project, Secret Path, to Halifax: Sharing the tragic story of Chanie Wenjack, a child who died while trying to escape the residential school he was forced to live in, Downie's project aims to raise funds and awareness around reconciliation. As he puts it via press release: "The next hundred years are going to be painful as we get to know Chanie Wenjack and thousands like him – as we find out about ourselves, about all of us – but only when we do can we truly call ourselves, Canada."
