Halifax's First Bookmark on the Canadian Literary Trail
When: Tue., Dec. 5, 2 p.m. 2017
Project Bookmark, a coast-to-coast salute to Canadian literature that sees "a permanent series of site-specific literary exhibits using text from imagined stories that take place in real locations" dotting towns and cities across the land, celebrates its first Halifax plaque with a nod to Hugh MacLennan's Barometer Rising—the World War One era romance interrupted by the Halifax Explosion. Swing by the unveiling for a reading of the 1941 novel.
