Dalhousie's Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences and the Shaar Shalom Synagogue invite the public to the 2016 Shaar Shalom Lecture in Diversity and Difference, part of lecture series designed to explore themes of diversity, tolerance and multiculturalism in contemporary Canadian communities.

This year's lecture will be presented by Dr. Orit Bashkin, professor of near eastern languages and civilizations at the University of Chicago.
