Icarus, Falling of Birds is an experience of poetry on an epic scale. Adapted from the book of poetry and photography of the same name by Harry Thurston and Thaddeus Holownia, this unique outdoor performance features a reading by the poet, large-scale puppetry, a string trio, and a youth ensemble of performers. As an audience member, you’ll walk from scene to scene, taking in each striking element of this performance situated in a historic site that overlooks the ocean.
