Celebrate the United Nations International Day of Play in a fun-filled family atmosphere where kids rule the roost. DIY creations in the Loose Parts zone with lumber, tarps, boxes, milk crates, rope and more. With Old Time play it’s races, rope pulls, hula hoops, footsies and bean bag toss. Keep moving, stay active and try the Fitness Fun Zone challenges. Get ready for more fun with special guests champion roper jumper Jacob Nussey and the Afghan Society of Halifax Kite Makers. Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring... Come and play, it's all free!
