Consumers can bring empty inkjet cartridges to Island Ink-Jet, which will refill, test and return the cartridges to the customer for prices generally up to 50 percent less than the cost of a new cartridge. It also sells new and compatible laser toners. Unusable ink jets and toners are recycled through ACES recycling depots. Island also offers information to the customer about proper care of the cartridge to help prolong its lifespan.
