Keeping Up with the Schumanns | Music Room Chamber Players Series

Robert and Clara Schumann are one of classical music's "power couples", inspiring each other both as pianists and composers over two decades during their courtship and married life. Tonight, we will hear music from various points in their professional and family lives, including Clara's piano trio, known to have influenced Robert's works in that genre, and Robert's piano quartet, with its piano part inspired by Clara's virtuosity.
