Laura Forrester: Isobel's Garden
Undergraduate exhibitor Laura Forrester's Isobel's Garden is a series of ceramic sculptures reflecting on the artist's youth planting and harvesting fresh flowers on Prince Edward Island. Forrester has a deep respect for horticulture and uses her knowledge to deconstruct the historical contexts of gardens to comment on cultural, socio-economic, and political issues utilizing the beauty and patterns of horticulture.
