Leah Garnett, Woods to walls, and string

A series of drawings and sculptures, this immersive work will show components of an ongoing installation Garnett is completing for a 2017 exhibition at the Owens Art Gallery and Confederation Centre. Working with leftover materials and images from Garnett’s father’s construction sites, she delves into the connections between construction, landscape and architecture, merging construction sites in Maine, New Brunswick and Ireland into a single landscape. —Laura Kenins
