M.E. Sparks: Image
Emerging New Glasgow based painter M.E. Sparks' series of drawings is inspired by Google Images and the algorithm it uses to source visually similar images---much like a game of "Telephone" the results are increasingly muddled. In the artist's own words: "This work explores the idea of instant and universal access to unlimited imagery, illustrating the ever-growing gap between past and present modes of image sourcing."
