New World Music
Daniel MacNeil's night of cross-cultural world music sees some of the province's most skilled performers (think Norm Adams, Samidha Naik, Derek Charke, MacNeil and more) flexing their musical muscles. Held in the library's Paul O'Regan Hall, the show sees a collection of compositions by MacNeil blend elements of western, Indian classical, Middle Eastern and flamenco traditions with dancers Jacinte Armstrong and Maria Osende rounding out the experience.
