Our History: Facilitated Discussion with Tino Chiome

Eyelevel's newest artist-in-resiedence, Tinofadzwa Chiome, holds a discussion for Black and Indigenous millennials "to examine the differences and commonalities of colonialism." "From the genocide of indigenous people to enslavement of the African and to colonization of 'Africa,' there seems to be a common thread of the colonial powers. This discussion will aim to identify the commonalities as well as tease out the differences and also speak to how we are all treaty people," event organizers say.
