Author Cecil Foster speaks about the experience of researching and writing his tome They Call Me George: The Untold Story of Canada’s Black Train Porters and the Birth of Modern Canada. "In the very place where porters once worked to welcome and assist new immigrants boarding trains, Mr. Foster will speak about how their unified efforts laid the groundwork for a more multicultural Canada that would provide opportunities for all its citizens," the museum adds.
