Portrait of Resistance: The Art and Activism of Carole Condé and Karl Beveridge

The 6th Annual Mayworks Halifax Festival, celebrating the history and struggle of working Nova Scotians, presents a documentary capturing the work and visions of Carole Condé & Karl Beveridge – pioneering artist-activists who have been working for social change since the mid 70’s. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the artists featured in the film.

Presented in collaboration with The Radical Imagination Project, Halifax Public Library and Cinema Politica.
