Purple Day Gala - The Art of Resilience

Purple Day Gala: The Art of Resilience celebrates the spirit of the epilepsy community through the symbolism of Kintsugi—embracing cracks, scars, and imperfections as sources of strength and beauty. Each seizure leaves marks, visible or not, yet our community continues to grow, live fully, and foster acceptance. This year’s Gala brings together more than 300 leaders for an evening of connection, entertainment, and curated culinary experiences. Guests will enjoy a private art show featuring works by community members, an interactive collective art activity, and performances by talented Maritimers including Quake Matthews, Maddy Frisby, and others.
