Reverb

The Halifax Camerata Singers present Reverb, an immersive, building-wide choral experience created in collaboration with Polaris, a Choirs for Change choir. Featuring more than 100 singers and guest instrumentalists, Reverb transforms one of Halifax’s most beloved centres of curiosity and learning into a resonant landscape of sound. Upon arrival, the audience of 250 will be divided into five groups and guided through musical “stations” inspired by the Centre’s exhibits: earth, water, heart, light, and sky. Each space will feature small ensembles drawn from both choirs, offering intimate sets of repertoire curated to the elements and spirit of the exhibits.
