Sensory-Accessible Concerts: Brad Reid and Catherine Little

This November Sensory-Accessible Concerts program features cellist Catherine Little and fiddler Brad Reid, joined by pianist and series host Jennifer King, in a spirited performance blending Cape Breton fiddle traditions with classical cello and piano. The program pairs Saint-Saëns’s “The Swan” and Bach’s “Cello Suites” with “Rewrite the Stars,” “Ain’t No Sunshine,” and “Blackbird.” Also featured are Natalie MacMaster’s “Christmas Jig,” Francis Sowish’s “Mouth of the Tobique,” Reid’s “Lime Hill,” “Lass of Luxury,” and “Ferry Air,” plus David Bennett Thomas’s lively, dance-inspired “Calypsodelphia.”
