Sixth Annual Alzheimer Duck Derby

10,000 rubber ducks will be racing in the Halifax Harbour for the sixth annual Alzheimer Duck Derby! The first ten ducks to cross the finish line will win their adoptive parents a prize, including the grand prize - a 2013 Hyundai Accent. There will be a FREE Kids Zone with lots of fun activities, including a bouncy castle, face painting, games, crafts and more! Kids under age 12 can enter the "Dress Like A Duck" costume contest, with a top prize of $500 towards an RESP. Our mascot, Hali Derby, will be there having fun and shaking his tail feathers.
