Strawberry Tea

The Dartmouth Heritage Museum describes this special spin on the Evergreen House's weekly teatime best: "In honour of Helen Creighton's designation as a person of National Historic Significant by Parks Canada, we will be having a special strawberry tea on August 3. It was a favourite of Helen's and we thought it would be a fitting tribute. The menu will include homemade strawberry shortcake, cookies, lemonade and, of course, piping hot tea. It will be served in the backyard of Evergreen House overlooking Halifax Harbour. Entertainment will be provided by Rosalee Peppard, an internationally recognized musician and Canada’s premier musical women’s oral-historian. "
