La Bohème is one of the best-loved operas in the repertoire. Puccini’s tale of young but doomed love contains some of the best melodies ever composed, including Musetta’s Waltz. This Metropolitan Opera production stars Canada’s own Teresa Stratas as Mimi and José Carreras as Rudolfo with sets and costumes by Franco Zeffirelli.
