suddenlyLISTEN, the purveyor of eccentric, eclectic and experimental music from 'round the globe, launches its 2018-2019 season with this, a showcase of Japanese culture. A quartet featuring a biwa (a Japanese guitar-like instrument), an improvising percussionist, a traditional calligrapher and an Ikebana flower artist will partner with Halifax musicians to weave a tight tapestry of culturally rich sound and stylings.
