The Snow Queen Ballet

The Snow Queen, a New Ballet performed by the Conservatory School of Dance, premieres February 15th, 2026. This family friendly show features student dancers and musicians from the Maritime Conservatory. Based on the 1844 story by Hans Christian Andersen, the story follows Gerda as she searches through many lands for her best friend Kai. Eventually Kai is found at the ice palace with the lonely and angry Snow Queen,where Gerda breaks the spell to allow love and kindness to triumph.
