In 1985, while a student at the National Theatre School in Montreal, Brooke Johnson formed an unlikely friendship with one of Canada’s most prolific politicians, Pierre Elliott Trudeau. It had been a year and a half since he'd stepped down as Prime Minister. Now he was walking to work, taking care of his children and no longer doing pirouettes behind the Queen. Through reminiscences, journal entries and correspondence, this one-woman show brings to life the true story of a remarkable friendship.
