Tighten the Traces

Written and performed by Robbie O’Neill, a co-founding member of Mulgrave Road Theatre, Tighten the Traces is based on the heart-warming story of Guysborough County native Leo Kennedy. A courageous survivor of cerebral palsy and polio, Leo was a hopeful individual who overcame his physical ailments to become a popular traveling salesman and story-teller throughout the region. Now 32 years after its premiere, Tighten the Traces will revisit the humour and humanity of Leo Kennedy one final time, as O’Neill once again transforms from an able bodied man to a true-to-life rendition of the man himself.
