To Build Law: Screening and Panel Discussion

This film tells the story of HouseEurope! – a European non-profit bringing together design professionals, industry, and civil society – is working to disrupt the building sector and make renovation the new norm. They argue that demolishing existing buildings is as outdated as food waste, fast fashion, and single-use plastics. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion reflecting on the film’s themes from a Canadian perspective featuring: Carly Connor (Green Salvaged Materials), Elizabeth Cushing (Heritage Planner, HRM), Cynthia Klaassen (Heritage Calgary), Kris Skiba (Dexel Developments), and Michael Putnam (Dalhousie School of Architecture). We welcome everyone to join us.
