Votive Dance

Votive Dance presents “Short Stories”, a show of mixed repertoire with choreography by Rhonda Baker, Kara Friesen, Catherine Hayward, Michele Slattery & Amanda Stafford. Baker, Friesen, and Slattery are each performing self choreographed solo pieces, while Stafford has created a soft and flowing quartet featuring Kathleen Doherty, Kara Friesen, Stephanie Mitro & Cassidy Tully. Catherine Hayward of Decidedly Jazz Danceworks (Calgary) has created a strong and intricate duet for company co-founders, Doherty & Mitro, which pushes both dancers to their limits in this exciting new work.
