In Mozart’s delicate and mesmerizing comedy, Don Alfonzo asks the dashing Guglielmo and Ferrando whether they can ever be sure that their girlfriends, Fiordiligi and Dorabella, will always be faithful. The Don sets up a masquerade where the two men pretend to be Albanians in order to try and get the women to betray their lovers.
